Gerald Gerez
I work on answer engine optimization and generative engine optimization for B2B SaaS — how companies get found, cited, and described in AI-generated answers.
Most of what gets called AEO stops at a binary question: did the brand appear, yes or no. I think that misses where the failures are. A company can be retrieved, cited, and interpreted correctly, and still be described to the buyer in the wrong category.
In practice, the problems I find most often aren't hallucinations. They're evidence problems. A company pivoted, and most of what's indexed still describes the previous product. A directory profile lists competitors from an adjacent category. Two live domains split two years of citations. The model isn't wrong — it's reasoning correctly from stale material.
How I work
I start by running the queries your buyer would actually type, across the models they'd actually use, and documenting what comes back. Not a score — the specific pages, the specific descriptions, and who currently owns the answers you should own.
From there it's four phases: audit, technical architecture, citation alignment, and measurement. They run in order, because publishing content on top of an unresolved entity doesn't compound.
Get in touch
The fastest way to start is a call. I'll run the audit on your domain beforehand, so we begin with findings rather than questions.
