AEO & GEO for B2B SaaS

Your buyers ask ChatGPT what to use. Make sure it names you.

I'm Gerald De Oleo, an independent AEO consultant for vertical B2B SaaS. I find the exact questions your buyers ask — by segment, team size and budget — and build the pages and sources AI pulls its answers from.

Free, runs on your domain, no signup.

1

Retrieval

Can the engine reach and read your pages at all?

2

Citation

Does the engine use your content as a source?

3

Interpretation

Does the engine understand what your content says?

4

Expression

How does the engine describe you in the final answer?

Most audits measure the first two. The failures that cost you pipeline live in the last two — cited, but not recommended. How each layer fails.

The process

How I get AI to recommend you

In order. Content built on a broken entity doesn't compound — it gets filed under whichever record the model settled on.

01

I find the questions your buyers actually ask

Not “what is X.” The decision questions — by segment, team size and budget — run across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google.

You see if you get recommended, how you get described, and who takes your place.

02

I fix how AI describes you

Your site says one thing. Your old listings say another. The model believes whichever has more sources behind it, and that’s usually the outdated one.

One version of your company across the web instead of three competing.

03

I build the pages and earn the sources AI cites

The pages people read right before they decide — integrations, comparisons, pricing, proof — and the third-party sources the engines pull their answers from.

You show up when someone asks what to use, not what something is.

04

I measure monthly and adjust

Engines change. Competitors publish. What worked in March stops working. Same questions, every engine, every month.

You know what moved and what moved it.

What's included

The work itself

Content built to be cited

Your blog explains things. It doesn’t get you bought. I build the pages that do.

Segment and market targeting

You sell to more than one kind of buyer. Each one needs its own page or they get a generic answer.

AEO across your whole site

Most AI crawlers don’t run JavaScript. If they can’t read your site, none of this works.

Your identity fixed everywhere

Half the web still describes what you sold two years ago. I go through it and correct it.

What you gain

What this changes for your business

Visibility is a vanity metric. These are the outcomes worth paying for.

  1. 1

    Authority that holds

Algorithm updates stop deciding your quarter. The sources these models trust become yours.

  2. 2

    The niches you actually serve

You won’t win the broad question. You can own every specific one, and that’s where the budget is.

  3. 3

    Recommended, not mentioned

Being one of ten does nothing for you. Being the one they should call does.

  4. 4

    Leads that arrive convinced

They already compared you. They call to talk price, not to ask what you do.

  5. 5

    Credibility on contact

Nobody opens the call confused about what you sell. You stop spending the first ten minutes correcting them.

  6. 6

    Ground taken early

Your competitors aren’t doing this yet. You probably have a year.

Pricing

Two numbers

AI Visibility Audit

$499 one time

25 questions your buyers ask, per segment, across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google. Who gets recommended, what sources decide it, and what to fix first. Five business days, credited toward your first month if you continue. Five a month.

Ongoing

$2,500 per month

The same questions rerun every engine, positioning work on the queries you can win, two pages a month, third-party sources corrected as they're found, and a report tracing each change back to what caused it. No contract.

Common questions

Short answers

What is answer engine optimization (AEO)?

Answer engine optimization is the practice of making your company the answer when a buyer asks an AI engine a question — being retrieved, cited, understood, and described correctly. It differs from SEO, which measures whether you rank on a page of links.

How do you get recommended by ChatGPT?

Make sure AI crawlers can read your pages without JavaScript, keep one consistent description of your company across every source, publish pages that answer constrained buyer questions, and earn mentions on pages you do not control. Then measure what the models actually say, per engine, every month.

Is being cited by AI the same as being recommended?

No. A citation means a model used your page as a source. A recommendation means it named your product as an option worth evaluating. Many B2B SaaS companies have the first without the second.

What does this cost?

The audit is $499 one time, and ongoing work is $2,500 per month with no contract. Both free tools run on your domain before you pay anything.

How long does AEO take to work?

Changes to your own site register soonest in engines that search the web on every question. Changes to how third parties describe you take longer, because they depend on other sites being updated and re-crawled. Anyone promising a date for a specific engine is guessing.

Find out before you pay anything.

Both tools run on your own domain in under two minutes. If they come back clean, you may not need me. If they don't, that's the conversation.
