AEO agency
AEO agency for vertical B2B SaaS
AEO Growth is a one-person AEO agency for vertical B2B SaaS, run by Gerald De Oleo. I help software companies get recommended, and described correctly, when their buyers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Google's AI what to use. Every engagement starts with a $499 audit; ongoing work is $2,500 a month, with no contract.
The problem
Your buyers now build their shortlist inside an AI answer, before anyone lands on your site. They ask what to use for their segment, team size and budget, and the engine names a handful of companies. If you're not one of them, you never make the list.
If you are, you can still be described as the company you stopped being: the wrong category, the wrong buyer, an old feature set. The model usually isn't hallucinating. It's reasoning correctly from stale material — old listings, third-party comparisons, a directory profile in an adjacent category — and the stale material is the majority.
Who it's for
- Post-product B2B SaaS in a vertical category, roughly pre-seed to Series A.
- AI answers leave you out, or describe you wrong. That's common after a repositioning, a rename, or running two domains.
- Your team can execute once someone tells them exactly what to fix.
Common situations:
- Competitors at your level appear in AI answers and you don't. Sometimes the cause is as basic as the crawlers not being able to read your site.
- You sell to more than one segment, and AI gives a generic answer instead of recommending you for each one.
- You compete against companies much larger than you and don't know how to stand out in an answer that only names three.
- Buyers pick a competitor who offers what you offer. Same capability, same price band, and the model keeps naming them.
- You appear, but AI describes you vaguely or outdated — including if you repositioned or renamed and the old description is still circulating.
- Your category's buyer's guides were written by your competitors, which is most B2B categories.
Who it isn't for
- You're pre-product. There's nothing to describe yet.
- You need content volume. I ship two pages a month.
- You're past roughly $5M ARR with a content team already in place.
- You want one vendor for search, AI, site build and paid.
In those cases an agency with a bench serves you better, and I'll tell you so. Eight options are compared by published price in Best AEO Agencies for B2B SaaS.
How I work
In order. Content built on a broken entity doesn't compound — it gets filed under whichever record the model settled on.
- I find the questions your buyers actually ask. Not “what is X.” The decision questions — by segment, team size and budget — run across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google. You see if you get recommended, how you get described, and who takes your place.
- I fix how AI describes you. Your site says one thing. Your old listings say another. The model believes whichever has more sources behind it, and that’s usually the outdated one. One version of your company across the web instead of three competing.
- I build the pages and earn the sources AI cites. The pages people read right before they decide — integrations, comparisons, pricing, proof — and the third-party sources the engines pull their answers from. You show up when someone asks what to use, not what something is.
- I measure monthly and adjust. Engines change. Competitors publish. What worked in March stops working. Same questions, every engine, every month. You know what moved and what moved it.
What each phase delivers, the first 90 days and the terms are on the services page.
What's different
The audit comes first. Every engagement starts with a fixed-price diagnosis, so the work that follows is scoped from findings instead of guesses. The findings are yours either way, including if you act on them yourself or take them to another vendor.
Prices are published. $499 for the audit, $2,500 a month after it, no contract. Five of the eight options I compared start at roughly $5,000 a month or more.
You work directly with me. The person doing the analysis is the person you talk to. I run five audits a month, each one by hand on a real domain.
Pricing
| Engagement | Price | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| AI Visibility Audit | $499, one time | Your buyers' questions across four engines, every cited source, and a prioritized fix list, in five business days. |
| Ongoing | $2,500 per month | The same questions rerun monthly, two pages a month, and third-party sources corrected. No contract. |

Common questions
How much does an AEO agency cost?
Published floors for B2B SaaS run from $2,500 a month to a $50,000 project minimum, and most of the market sits between $3,500 and $12,000 a month. One-time audits run from $399 to $5,000. Mine is a $499 audit, then $2,500 a month with no contract. Eight AEO options for B2B SaaS, compared by published price.
Should I do AEO in-house or hire an agency?
Often a mix. Your team can own the technical layer and the pages. The half that rarely gets finished in-house is correcting the third-party sources that describe you wrong. Buy a diagnosis first: it tells you which half is actually your problem. AEO in-house or outsourced: the half your team won’t finish.
How long does AEO take?
Getting crawled takes days to about three weeks. Getting recommended on questions you can actually win typically takes two to four months, engine by engine, with Perplexity usually first. How long AEO takes, engine by engine.
Why one person instead of an agency with a team?
A solo specialist fits when the problem is diagnostic rather than volume: entity confusion, a repositioning that didn’t propagate, a strong product with an unclear category. An agency fits when you need sustained content production across many pages, heavy PR and placement, or several markets at once. Solo specialist or agency, and how to choose.
